Book 4. Day 104: New Sales Simplified

“How are you today?”

“Did I catch you at a good time?”

“Can I have a minute of your time?”

Pathetic!

You are only asking for the prospect to give you an answer you don’t want.

Today’s episode of Daily Burst of Inspiration reading “New Sales Simplified” by Mike Weinberg, “Your Friend the Phone”.

The first 10 seconds is critical!

The most anxious and hardest so far at the beginning of the call.

Creates an impression from the prospects.

My personal style?

“Let me steal a minute”

“Hi, Fred. It’s Mike Weinberg with The New Sales Coach. Let me steal a minute.”

Far typical than we always hear…

It’s human and real! I’m looking to steal a minute from him…

Call it for what it is!

From the famous saying: “If you call the demon by its name, you strip him from its power!”

Now, If we caught the prospect at a bad time?

Let the person go! There’s no rule forcing to have a full conversation…

Be sensitive in that specific situation.

Other trainers will suggest launching into your script.

The second call you make to that prospect will be easier.

Be human, don’t push it!

Takes a lot of anxiety in your call…
