The Daily Little Tax

Can you believe we are nearing the end of the second quarter of 2021!

Take a good look at your goals. Are you halfway through to reaching your goals?

You can totally do this!

William James, the ‘father of modern psychology’, says:
“We forget that every good that is worth possessing must be paid for in strokes of daily effort. We postpone and postpone until those smiling possibilities are dead… by neglecting the necessary concrete labor, by spearing ourselves the little daily tax, we are positively digging the graves of our higher possibilities.”

This is so true in business and in personal life.

We all have our daily little activities we do in order to have a balanced life. (Be it spiritual, physical or emotional.)

In business, we need to have our “daily” little activities that we need to do “every day”, five business days a week!
Not ONLY when there is a promotion.
Not ONLY when it’s at the end of a quarter.
Not ONLY when it’s at the end of the year.

It’s the DAILY tax. The small things. The minimum you start with, and then build on that.

We don’t want to dig the grave of our higher possibilities.

We postpone and postone our daily tax, because we think it needs to be a huge tax.

It’s the little steps that make a huge difference.
> In personal life:
Being mindful
Writing down 5 minutes of gratitude
Eating the right foods
Sleeping enough

> In business life:
Reaching small box numbers
Green time
Cold calling daily.

No matter if it’s rough. We get knocked down. We get rejected. We are in a bad mood.

Do your daily tax and you will reach higher and higher!

It will be totally worth it!

Good luck, my friend.
